Sketches from the history of Sibenik
The first cruise ship visited Sibenik 186 years ago. King Friedrich August II, ruler of Saxony, made a three week cruise trip on a steamship from Trst to Montenegro and back. They entered Sibenik port on May 25th. After a visit to Sibenik cathedral and a tour around the old city, the king and his suite payed a visit to Krka waterfalls.
