Kornati National Park is a fascinating archipelago that consists of 147 islands, islets and reefs. It has been protected as a national park since 1980. These islands were once covered with woods. Due to fires and sheep farming, nowadays Kornati are bare with the poorest flora in Croatian Adriatic. The moonlike landscape of these islands is probably what fascinates modern travelers. Definitely worth sightseeing.
